Instructional Technology Coach October 2025 Employee of the Month, P.I.E.S. Recipient

The Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25’s Employee-of-the-Month P.I.E.S. award recognizes employees who Positively Influence Educational Success. The award is for employees who go above and beyond in that effort.

Heidi Baker is recognized as the October PIES Award recipient for her outstanding contributions to student success and her unwavering support for learning across the district. Her colleagues describe her as a dedicated, innovative professional who consistently goes above and beyond to make a difference for learners and staff alike. Heidi was nominated by Tiffany Lemos, Elissa Novy, Kimberly Thompson, Janelle Arvas and Carri Thomason.

Heidi played a vital role in launching the SD25 Online School for secondary learners, investing countless hours last summer to help design and refine course content. Her blend of instructional insight and technical expertise ensured that the online learning experience was engaging, effective, and accessible for all learners.

Known for her creative problem-solving skills, Heidi approaches every challenge with positivity and purpose. Whether she’s troubleshooting a technical issue, brainstorming new instructional strategies, or offering a work of encouragement, she is always ready to lend a hand. Her friendly, welcoming attitude has made her a trusted colleague and a go-to person for support.

Heidi’s dedication to helping students and educators succeed is evident in everything she does. Her commitment, collaborative spirit, and passion for excellence reflect the very best of the PIES values – Positively Influencing Educational Success.

Through her tireless efforts and genuine car for others, Heidi Baker has made a lasting impact on the SD25 learning community. 

Ms. Baker was recognized at the Board of Trustees meeting on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 and received a $50 gift card from the educational partner for this award, Lookout Credit Union.
