December Grizzly Gazette
Dear Grizzly Families,
Happy December everyone. We have three jam packed weeks of school this month. Core instruction will continue to move forward and build from day to day. When possible, please send your grizzlies to school so they do not miss out on class instruction and fun learning and social opportunities. We have access to new donated children’s coats. If you need help getting any of your children coats please call the office. Reminder: Winter break starts Dec 23rd. Our first Day back to school is Monday, Jan. 6th. Safety: Please do not have learners arrive before 8am. We open doors for breakfast at 8am and send staff out to monitor at 8am. All learners should head home right after the final bell instead of lingering on the playground. Staff return inside from monitoring no later than 3pm. Proactivity: We go outside in this cold Idaho weather. Please help your learner(s) dress in layers to they keep themselves comfortable inside and outside. Right before Thanksgiving break we hosted a visiting author, Jolie Taylor. She is from Idaho Falls. Jolie shared her journey to become a published author and parts of her book “The Totally Not Boring Book of Feelings”. It is sold on Amazon, in person at Desert Books and in some Barnes & Nobles.
I hope everyone has a wonderful winter break and happy new year!
Best wishes,
Mrs. Delonas
